Eaten every year, the Passover meal was God's way to help his Old Testament people experience that he set them free from slavery in Egypt. The meal is full of imagery that recounts what God did to save them and is called the Seder. It was at this meal that Jesus gave us the Lord's Supper, building on the ignorance of God, guilt and death.
On Thursday of Holy Week, April 2nd, we will be celebrating the whole Passover meal together as a fellowship. Starting at 5:30pm in the Gym, we will walk through the entire meal, seeing how each part of the meal points us to Jesus and what he would do. Then at the end, we will move to the Worship Center to finish by sharing the Lord's Supper, just as they did the night Jesus gave it to us.
Because it is a meal, registration is required. The cost is $15 per person (children under the age of two years old are free) and includes a full catered dinner.
