Details
All current 5th-8th grade students are invited to be part of Mission Week 2026. We will be working with local organizations to serve our community in a variety of ways. This week is a great opportunity to focus on your personal and spiritual growth while showing God's love to our community. Please take some time to pray about being part of this awesome opportunity!
F.A.Q.s
What is the cost of the week? What does that include?
The total cost per participant is $150. This includes all food, travel, and supplies for the week. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is due when you register.
*POP Youth believes that financial hardship should never prevent you from participating in faith-growing opportunities like this – if the cost will be too much for your family, please talk to Peter.
What is the daily schedule?
9:00AM-12:00PM VBS
12:00PM-12:30PM Lunch
12:30PM-4:30PM Service projects & Afternoon Activities
5:00PM-6:00PM Dinner
6:00PM-7:00PM Worship
The schedule varies slightly each day, depending on the projects. A detailed scheduled will be sent to all participants before the week starts.
Do I have to attend VBS as part of Mission Week?
By registering for Mission Week, you will automatically be registered for VBS. We start our Mission Week days with VBS because it gets our hearts oriented to Jesus so that we can be his hands and feet in the afternoons.
How are we getting to our service sites?
We will be renting vans. Students will be dropped off and picked up at POP; they cannot be dropped off or picked up at the service sites.
What about the food? What if I have a food allergy?
Students must bring their own lunches each day. Dinner will be provided by POP. We are able to make reasonable accommodations for special food needs; however, we cannot guarantee a gluten-free or nut-free menu.
Do you need any parent help?
Yes! There are a lot of ways parents can be part of Mission Week too! We need many chaperones and helpers!
